Greek Style Lemon and Chicken Rice
Prep
Step 1 : The Chicken Stock
Boil chicken carcass with turmeric powder pepper powder and salt
Step 2 : Slice some onions and mash few garlic
Step 3 : Wash and Soak Basmati Rice
Step 4 : Slice up a Lemon/Lime
Cooking
Step 1 : Saute/Stir Fry the chicken with some oil and butter
Step 2 : Remove the chicken and on the same Pan/Kadai Fry some garlic and onions
Step 3 : Add in Seasoned Oregano (or oregano with Thyme, sage/Parsley) with chilli flakes
Step 4 : Add Salt and Pepper
Step 5 : Squeeze a Quarter of the Limbu
Step 6 : Add Basmati Rice
Step 7 : Place the chicken on the rice with Lemon Slices on Top of the chicken
Step 8 : Leave it for 15 minutes or until Done
Let the rice rest and cool off a little before you open the lid and serve.
I'm serving with Salads and Saute'd Cabbage, You can try the Yogurt/Dahi Sauce by just Adding and mixing Garlic Paste, Salt Pepper and lemon into the Yogurt/Dahi
