Chicken Steak in soya garlic sauce with butter Sauté'd veggies
Chicken Breast, veggie & a trial sauce made my Sunday Afternoon better.
.
It's easy to make a you spend less time as compared to the traditional Mangalorean/any Indian chicken gravy I've made so far.
So here's what you need to make.
Beans, Baby corn, Mushroom, Chicken Breast & Butter
.
So how do you begin with this!?
Simple, it always depends on your chicken marinate.
What I've done is I marinated the chicken in salt, peppers & lime juice of a full lime.
Leave it for an hour.
.
In the meantime heat up a pan on low flame.
.
When the pan begins to heat up, drop in your butter (a generous amount) and take the pan off heat.
Let the butter melt slowly in the heat of the pan.
Once melted, pour it on a bowl for later use.
.
On the same pan which is now back in stove, add your Chicken Breast (Steak is a term used for beef, don't use that in chicken.)
.
Let the chicken cook for 5mins on one side and then flip it and turn the heat up, this will allow the chicken to finish cooking and get a grilled mark that will add on to the flavour in your chicken.
.
Now once the chicken is cooked; let it rest aside.
.
Add the butter on the same pan and toss up your veggies in salt and pepper seasoning (Save just a Tspoon of it so it can be used in the sauce)
.
Let's prep the Sauce on the other side.
.
In a sauce pan, add a cup of water, turn the gas on and add chopped garlic cloves (2 or 3) , 1Tsp flour, 1Tsp corn flour, a little soya sauce, sprinkle in some red chilli powder (just sprinkle, don't get carried away and add more than half Tsp)
Half Tsp sugar & salt to taste.
Keep stirring till you get a thick sauce.
.
Now once done, we plate it. It's very simple, it's all about compartmentalizing your plate and deciding what goes where.
.
Place the butter Sauté'd veggies and sprinkle half a lemon in one part of the plate.
On the opposite side, add some sauce and carefully place the chicken on the sauce, the drizzle the sauce over the veggies & the Chicken.
.
You're Done, Bon Appetite!
