Broast Chicken

Broast Chicken

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken (Medium Cut) Half Kg.
  2. Teju Chicken Masala 1 Pack
  3. Green Chilly Paste (1 Tsp)
  4. Garam Masala (half Tsp)
  5. Ginger Garlic Paste (half Tsp)
  6. Tamarind Paste (Half Tsp)
  7. Black Pepper Powder (half Tsp)
  8. Flour (Maida)
  9. Egg
  10. Corn Flakes
Prep:
The Marinate - On a Bowl Add a full small pack of the Regular Teju Chicken masala (Costs rs.10)
(other ingredients are optuonal : these have been added according to my personal preference)
Add a Tsp of Green chilly paste (i have one Home made : Mom's recipe)
add a bit of garam masala, ginger garlic paste, tamarind paste;
black pepper powder (Salt if needed)
One Egg (If not egg then Curd can be used as an alternate to bind the paste together).
Mix the ingredients nicely so that it forms into the texture of a Batter; then add in the chicken mix it well enough to ensure that the chicken is coated with the marinate. once this is done, let it rest for 2 hours (i marinate them and let it rest over night).

The Broast Coating - Take an Egg in a Bowl and Beat it well. add some salt if you feel it is necessary.
in another Plate add in some maida and a little bit of Black pepper powder, mix it together;
in another plate or bowl crush some corn flakes or use Bread Crumbs instead, i am using corn flakes in this.
once you crush the corn flakes, add it to your Maida-pepper mix.

Keep the place neat while while coating the chicken, one way to do that is by keeping the ingredients in alignment of it's hierarchy.
1st comes the marinated chicken, then Beaten eggs, then Maida-Pepper-Crushed corn Mix.

Process is simple; take your chicken piece, dip it in the egg then dip it in the Maida-Pepper-Corn flake mix (Make sure its Coated all over the Piece) and then transfer it to on to a Clean Plate. repeat the same for all the pieces.

If yours Looks like the image Above? then you are doing it right.

The Broast Fry - You can let it rest for some more if you prefer,
otherwise if you are Hungry like i was; Take a Deep Fry Pan, Add in the oil you prefer (Really  any oil will do) Let the Oil Heat Up under High Flame. when the oil is ready, slide the pieces in carefully and let it fry (Right now is the good time to keep the stove in simmer : Low Flame) and leave it alone for a While.
Carefully Monitor the chicken, because you don't want to eat a Burn Broast do you!
If it turn golden brown on all sides, Remove from the Oil and Serve Hot.
